August 3-10 Bernard Gregor-Smith, cellist of the Dante Quartet and formerly the internationally renowned Lindsay Quartet, Yolande Wrigley, piano, and Lizzie Ball, violin, will be resident at AMS, playing a series of concerts (link).
They will be available for instrumental lessons and chamber music coaching sessions.

Sept 6-13 Gripped by the Music 2008
The locals here in Las Alpujarras enjoy the annual visit to the Alexander Music School of musicians participating in The Summer School, Music in the Mountains and their Spanish village fiestas.
Nestled within the Alpujarras Mountains, Southern Spain, the Alexander Music School (AMS) is a Cultural Centre offering classes and holiday courses in Music and the Alexander Technique, and specialising in providing knowledge and assistance to musicians with injuries and performance-related tension.
AMS runs a series of short courses throughout the year, in addition to providing a diverse programme of concerts, Music for the Mountains. AMS is also involved in many activities within Las Alpujarras.
