Each morning will be divided into two class sessions, the first part of which will be a discussion, the second part being observational and practical.
Throughout the course the relevance and application of the Alexander Technique to music will be discussed, including awareness, faulty sensory perception, endgaining, tension, breathing and inhibition.
This course is suitable for musicians and Alexander Technique teachers wishing to develop their understanding the technique and its relevance to musicians.
Afternoons – free time
Evenings usually free, with a public performance on May 21st of a ‘show’, performed in nearby Pitres, composed by the pupils of Pitres school and EMFEB composers Benjamin Ellin and Owen Bourne.
Course cost: £150 (including lunches)
