The following courses will be taught in Spain throughout 2005. All will be in English, except the first one in April. Please click on them for more information:

May 16 - 22:
Alexander Technique. What has it to offer a musician? *

May 28 - June 5:
"Spring Chamber Music" **

July 2 - 3:
Introduction to Alexander Technique for musicians *

July 18 - 24:
"Gripped by the Music" *
A course specifically for musicians with playing related injuries

July 23 - 30:
"Just Play Naturally"
Vivien Mackie will explore the relationship of the Alexander Technique to musical performance

August 21 - 28:
Alexander and "Use of the Self" *
A discussion of the technique in relation to one of Alexander's books
This runs alongside the course Alexander y "El Uso de Sí Mismo"

September 15 - 25:
Autumn String/Piano Chamber Music **
A music and Alexander Technique holiday course

* Coincides with concerts from the series "Music for the Mountains"
** Alexander Technique lessons included
There is a 10% discount for students and a 5% discount for VSL members on all the courses.

Individual tailor-made Alexander Technique programmes
In addition to the courses above, it is possible, by arrangement, for a person to come to AMS just for their own programme. Many musicians in particular have come for a short period of time and found it very effective to work with and without their instrument.
