About the Area
Pitres
Pitres is the closest large village to Ferreirola. It has useful
shops such as a supermarket and pharmacy, and a weekly market.
The Town Hall serves several villages, including Ferreirola. Several bars surround
the square, and the vegetarian restaurant ‘El Jardin’ has a terrace
commanding amazing views.
Musicians sometimes play here in the summer months.
There is a small exhibition space in Pitres, and local photographers and artists
can display their work here.
It is possible to walk to Pitres from Ferreirola, but it is a steep 50-minute
climb.
