In order to book an individual lesson please contact us. AMS works in close association with The Alexander Studio in London, which also has a flourishing teacher training course in the Alexander Technique.
AMS group workshops
AMS UK is now offering its own range of workshops and masterclasses, both in pure Alexander Technique and Alexander Technique applied to music and performance. In addition, groups and institutions may contact AMS if they would like to book a particular programme.
·Alexander/music workshops have been given by Cat Jary and other teachers invited through AMS on the following themes:
-General Introduction to Alexander Technique
-Exploring tension in performance
-Musicians' injuries
-Exploring nerves and stage-fright
-Alexander Technique for singers
·The workshops and masterclasses are suitable for any of the following groups:
-Musicians’ organisations e.g. ESTA, ISM, ISSTIP
-School and music service ensembles
-Adult orchestras and choirs
-Youth orchestras
-Teachers in music services
-Instrumental teachers’ masterclasses with pupils
-GCSE, A-level and Associated Board entrants
-Music College students
