Banu Nay Ensemble: This chamber group was formed in 2002 by the Coral Villa de Salobreña musical association, following a concert in which some of its members played a variety of recorders. The group was originally called “Aulos” and was formed as a quintet of recorders to make these instruments more widely known in Spanish classical music.

The group have given concerts of Renaissance and Baroque music in many parts of the province of Granada and worked with the Choir of Salobreña on the “Autumn Music Programme” of the Coral Villa Association. They have performed a musical-theatrical version of the educational concert “The Story of a flute”, which offers a sample of different types of recorders and takes a small tour through the history of music.

The group's members also perform with other musical organizations.

Grupo Amadís Antigua

Amadís Antigua: is a group that was created to interpret little known but high quality works of the Baroque period. Their repertoire is based on sonatas for baroque violin as well as sonatas for flute and trio sonatas.

Given the versatility of the group and considering its five members, their repertoire ranges from solo sonatas (violin and flute in addition to bass) to trio sonatas and small-scale orchestral works. For the latter, the group has five more performers, thus forming a baroque orchestra similar to those of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

Amadís Antigua play on original instruments of the period, or replicas of them.
