Alexander Music School Courses

Conditions of Booking:

Application for a place certifies acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

Deposits:
Deposits are payable at the time of booking by all applicants to courses at the Alexander Music School, and all non-participants choosing the AMS Mecina Option. Please send a cheque of £130 per person, payable to Cat Jary.
Due to the intimate style of the courses, applicants cannot automatically be guaranteed a place. Notification of acceptance will be sent as soon as possible, and if we are unable to offer you a place, we will return your deposit in full.

Cancellations:
Deposits are fully refundable until six weeks before departure. Cancellations made after this time will forfeit the deposit. The balance of payment is due three weeks prior to the course. In certain circumstances, eg. death or critical illness in the immediate family, a refund will be payable.
Musicians who, once accepted, then cancel less than six weeks before the course starts
will be expected to find a suitable replacement. This is in fairness to other musicians on the course. If a suitable replacement is found, a maximum £50 cancellation charge will apply.

The Alexander Music School reserves the right to cancel/postpone any of the advertised courses. In this unlikely event, any monies already paid will be refunded in full.

Insurance:
We insist you have your own travel, health, and musical instrument insurance. The Alexander Music School cannot be held responsible for damage to personal belongings or instruments. Health form E111 is sufficient to cover most medical emergencies.

Travel documents:
Please make sure your passport is valid until after your return flight date. If you intend to hire a car, remember to bring your driving licence, and drivers must be over 21 in Spain(and have been driving for at least a year).
No vaccinations are necessary to visit Spain, but it is advisable to have both the E111 health form, and a photocopy of the E111 in the unlikely event of a visit to the hospital or doctor.

In the event of any queries or difficulties relating to the courses offered by the Alexander Music School, please do not hesitate to contact the School Director, Cat Jary.
