The Lydian is a choir of adults whose director, Sue Hollingworth, has won many presitigious prizes for her work with choirs, including those of the BBC and the Gramophone prize for "Best Choral Director".
The South of Granada International Choir was formed in January 2011 as a development of the Choir of La Taha in the Alpujarras, which was itself formed in 2007; Cat Jary directs both choirs. The South of Granada Choir's membership covers the area from Trevélez to Órgiva and includes both Alpujarraneans and foreigners.
